A Disciplined, Rules-Based Approach
Markets work in cycles. We proactively make adjustments to your portfolio based on the current risks and opportunities in the market.
A Process You can Trust
We have developed and refined a rules-based investment process to help you optimize your wealth during any investment conditions.
Common Sense Investment Philosophy
The foundation of our investment process stands on the three pillars of investment success.
- Participate in Good Markets
Successful investing requires exposure to the correct assets in the correct environment. You don’t need to own all asset classes at all times.
- Avoid Large Declines
When markets become volatile, risk management strategies should be applied to avoid large and damaging losses. The ability to move to cash is critical.
- Search for Outperformance in All Markets
Outperformance occurs when you do more of what is working and less of what is not.
“A disciplined process that dynamically adjusts risk is key for investment success.“

Why Traditional Asset Allocation Doesn’t Work
We believe diversification to be much more than having different assets in your portfolio.
When markets undergo stress, asset correlations increase dramatically. This means that traditional asset class diversification does not provide the benefits most investment managers claim. When markets go up, often many asset classes go up in tandem. When markets go down, the same is true.
We believe in diversifying portfolios across different strategies to prepare portfolios for various market outcomes. These strategies then dynamically adjust as risks and opportunities change. So your portfolio takes risk when it is more favorable, and reduces risks during times of volatility.
Prudence, Discipline & Logic
We apply advanced analytical tools and a structured approach to identify which investments provide you with the highest probability of success in both good and bad markets.
Look Beyond Asset Allocation
We believe diversification to be much more than having different assets in your portfolio. Above all, diversification is tactical – it should change as markets change. We believe in diversifying portfolios across various strategies to prepare portfolios for different market outcomes.
Real Risk Management
Risk tolerance is an important part of every investor’s profile. But risk isn’t distributed equally across all markets, and our clients risk tolerances change over time. We’ve developed a disciplined process that focuses on long-term risk tolerance to determine where and when those risks should be taken through various market cycles.
Rules Based Approach
In today’s investment world, hope is not an investment strategy. Portfolios of every kind require diligence and continuous oversight. We a have rules-based approach that governs our investment strategy and adjusts to changing markets. We have diligently planned portfolio actions to remain calm and unemotional during any market condition.
How Do We Invest Your Portfolio?
Once you become a client of IronBridge, we start to manage your portfolio using a set of proprietary investment models. We strategically invest your capital based on the current opportunities in the market. We also will remain patient to invest cash if our algorithms are not giving us favorable readings.
We do the hard work so you don’t have to.
Identify Your Portfolio Objective
Step one is to understand your investment objectives so we can identify the maximum risk your portfolio will take. However, your portfolio does not need to be at the maximum risk exposure at all times. Our proprietary investment models help us identify when and where to allocate your portfolio, within predetermined constraints.
Everything we do has a process, including how we implement your portfolio. If you fund the account with cash, we opportunistically add risk as we get specific buy signals for each position. If you transfer existing assets to IronBridge, we analyze those positions to determine when to re-allocate your portfolio based on your current investment exposure, tax implications to make changes, and by applying our buy and sell discipline to each holding you transfer in.
A key goal of our asset management system is the effort to remove emotion from the investing process. We believe the best way to achieve this is by using preset rules to determine when to buy and sell positions.
Many investment firms make it difficult to truly analyze how your portfolio is doing. You have access to an investment portal that provides clear and comprehensive reporting of your accounts so you know exactly what is happening in your accounts in real time.
Let us help you gain confidence for what’s next.
